CNC plasma cutting is a thermal cutting technology. It uses high-temperature plasma arcs to melt and cut metal materials. Specifically, by applying high-frequency and high-voltage currents between the electrode and the workpiece, gases (such as compressed air, oxygen, argon, and a mixture of hydrogen, etc.) are ionized to form plasma. Plasma has an extremely high temperature (up to tens of thousands of degrees Celsius) and can quickly melt metal plates. At the same time, under the action of the plasma arc, the molten metal is blown away by the high-speed ejected gas, thereby forming a cutting seam and realizing the cutting of metal materials.
